You, deep down, know the answer.

It has been reported Pendlebury will play against the Cats next week to equal the record but rested against us the following week (SCG) in order to break the record against West Coast at the MCG in 3 weeks time (R11).

David King has been filthy this week at North for the decision they made 10 years ago to force Boomer Harvey into retirement, whilst he was still one of their better players and wanted to play on for another year at least.

It would've made Pendlenury consider whether to play on next year at 39yo in order to break games record.

Instead it triggered off North's 10 year rebuild at the bottom which they haven't yet climbed out of, although this year they've made their most promising start (thanks in part to Luke Parker's stellar form across half back, which doesn't surprise Swans fans. Always a champ).

It's not a great result because percentage is almost irrelevant now for Hawthorn. The percentage advantage for Fremantle and Sydney over Hawthorn is gone.

Collingwood's impressive accuracy in front of goal almost gave them a win. We have now seen that Hawthorn is beatable.

also the pies obviously dont beleive in the mantra "the team is bigger than the individual". Perhaps Pendelbury could have been the difference but he and the Pies are more focused on his upcomng games milestone.

    I'll take it!

49 free kicks and the adjudication of "not 15" seems to be a lucky dip to me.

Still 11 minutes to go and there's been 43 free kicks!

Collingwood actually deserve to win this.

I doubt if it's a Collingwood tactic to spend extended periods of time in their own 50, but this game is a bit "rope a dope".

Collingwood making Hawks look very ordinary so far. Straight kicking helps!

Hawthorn might end up regretting their crap goalkicking this quarter. And it's curious how whenever they mention the Anderson story, they always talk up Sturt, but never quite recall the Swans academy

Could be a very entertaining watch, though. It'll be interesting to see the reaction of Collingwood fans to Ginnivan, especially seeing they didn't like Swans fans booing him when he was a Pie.
Yes, I now remember that at the time, various Collingwood spokespeople claimed that Collingwood people don't boo. Which was a curious use of the English language.
