    Nice to see one of your charts again. There seems to be some distinctive trends in there.

      It's almost as if Carlton cycles between moderately good and awful on a 12-year cycle, and coaches appointed on the decline part of the cycle don't stay long. On that chart, Carlton peaked in 1999 (Grand Final), 2011 and 2023. If that trend continues, they're not going to peak again until 2035. I pity the poor mug who ends up coaching Carlton in the next three years, they will not last longer than that.
