I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time -

BingoWeird little bit of teammate dynamics- I feel like Logan is going to benefit the most today by Hayden, the guy most likely competing for his spot, coming in and doing well. Playing as a slightly undersized ruckman is just so physically demanding at around the ground stoppages which must impact on a guy who is a fairly high IQ key forward with long leading patterns (apart from the time spent away from the forward line).

It’d be nice if the rest of the midfield decided to give Heeney a hand in the second half. Chad in particular is having a total mare (hopefully that does the trick and he makes me look like an idiot for the rest of the game).Comment

I'm hoping that Cox is giving them a real spray. Midfield is getting a real bath at the moment, and they need to lift. Being behind by one point at half time is flattering."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

Papley is now on 316 goals, only one behind Capper who's 11th on the Swans all time goalkicking list.Comment

I tuned in midway through the 2nd. Wow, they look awful. Disconnected, structure is stuffed. Backline ineffective, forward line all at sea, and our midfield is just being outplayed. What is this? Is this the same team that is the top of the ladder? I think I saw Blakely in the midfield at the centre bounce, which may be a good move.Comment
