This is unnecessarily stressful. We should have wrapped this up in the third but too many missed opportunities and too much lairising. Blakey has had a good game regardless. His skills have improved immensely and he is becoming a great player-. UGH we're likely to lose this .

Nine points up with a minute to go.

Messy win but I'll take it. North Melbourne are not pushovers this year.

Good tough effort to strangle the game. Must be a bit strange for John Blakey; celebrating the 1996 North premiership, while watching son Nick play a leading role in denying North today.

The only time that we haven't got to 100 this season was the Hawthorn loss. And it was another case of first to 100 wins the game.

                    Curnow for Cottee
                    Warner/Jesse/Cleary for Lloyd

Some questions have to be asked around our defensive mix, but bank the 4 pts

And they currently have a fairly short injury list. Which is helpful for stability and form.

Take the 4 points and move on. A very messy game to some degree, and we are playing far too 'cute' at the moment and wasting a lot of chances, and North let us off a bit today with inaccurate kicking. But I also thought we got a pretty decent reaming from the Umps - more in the fact that they got away with a whole lot that we got pinged for immediately.

Yep. I'd rather win by 8 points, than loose by 8 points.

I wouldn't waste anytime analysing it with Tom Mc out

Corey Warner, 32 and 4gls in the 2s, should come straight in after that for Lloyd
