We’d have lost that game plenty of times in the last few seasons. We played average, but so good to find a way.

As for that last tackle by Rowie, I hope our old mate The Bloods was watching.

Coxy has some work to do, but he’d know it and we’re banking the wins anyway.

The BOGs were obvious in Blakey, Grundy, Heeney and McInerney, but special credit goes to Wicks for the job he did on the little woosie boy, Serong for just key and composed moments when we needed it and Cootee for his defensive work.

I was only listening, but I got the impression that leaving Daicos forward with Wicks on him, may have been a tactical error by McRae.

Very average effort. Full of mistakes and how often they surged forward to kick it straight to a Collingwood defender must have been a record. Suppose we can blame the slippery condition but if Collingwood had their full side, I believe they would have won easily.
