Blatant dropping by them. Time and time again. Never a whistle.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Hopefully this will shake up the season

Have not defended thru the middle of the ground all year, eventually a good team exposes it.

Weak as piss in the contest

Rowbottom is having a poor game. He takes that mark and we are going bto the top of the square. By the way, any chance we get rewarded for our tackles.

We are missing Errol, our backline is a little off, and we've been relying on Blakey, Heeney and Grundy for the last few games. If those three are well held then we're in trouble. I think some of our players are a little off the pace. Geelong are a very good team, playing brilliant football, and we haven't been playing that well in the last few weeks. They may have peaked too soon. I think this is a great learning experience for some of our lesser lights. Put Errol in and it's a different ballgame.

Great last 10 minutes of that quarter after an ordinary first half of the quarter.

The umpiring of this game remains absolutely bafflingly bad however. Cats being allowed to do whatever they please, and we can't even get obvious marks paid. Thank goodness we got that late goal to make up for the absolute pathetic call a minute before.

Hope we can take the momentum into the last and keep it close if nothing else.

I don't know what role Rowie is meant to be playing, but it is not working.

Well, that makes it a bit more interesting. Handy comeback after looking gone halfway through the quarter. Need to keep matching them in the contested possessions.

                        Arsey goals. So frustrating.

Two rediculous goals and the gate is about shut. But our defence when the ball is in dispute is embarrassing. And again the umps won’t pay our tackling.

Grundys first average game for the year. Must be tired after all his Herculean performances
