Freo are in an injury run

All teams have had a few out

We aren't alone here, we will just add Grundy to the list if we dont play 2 permanent rucks

Good to have you back on here occasionally, and good call. I thought our three talls were all very good last week given what was incoming, but Snell has been in stellar form in reserves. Needs a run.

The chance of Snell coming in, makes me wonder if Mills has been spending any time practising in the midfield?

I have a long held belief that he's best in there. People forget how good his '21 and '22 seasons were in particular. I think Heens needs the help on the grunt work, given Rowie has been pushed out, and the weird way we're using Chad (though I don't think the inside stuff is his strength).

But, having said that, I suspect Cox will want one of Ramps or Mills as part of his backline for leadership and organisation, and until Ramps comes back, Mills ain't moving, if he does at all.

Apparently Mills is now in doubt after leaving training early, while looking a bit sore. Groan.

Although, that might increase the chances of Snell debuting.

When Ramps is back having Mills in the middle with Heens and Warner would be ideal, be a formidable midfield

Obviously Papley and Rosas out, possibly Mills too.
I would bring Dattoli in and give him a few weeks in Papley's spot. Cootee probably for Rosas and would like to see Snell come in for Mills.

There's going to be at least one debutant, based on some content Swans just dropped on social media.

                      And, it's Kyle

The 18-year-old grew up playing rugby and basketball before landing at the QBE Sydney Swans Academy in the middle of 2024.

I received a True Bloods facebook post that Callum Mills is now in doubt for this week after leaving training early this morning, moving gingerly.

I suspect Harry Cunningham will be the replacement if Mills doesn't come up, but good opportunity to also blood in Snell.

                        Interesting Selection tonight!

                          Out Mills, Grundy, paps, Rosas
                          in Kyle, Pete, Harry, Dos

with Cleary and Hanily in means a super dud team.

Odd changes. Grundy rested (fair enough), Mills, Papley and Rosas injured. Replaced by Ladhams (fair enough), McLean, Cunningham and Kyle.
Doesn't strike me a balanced team losing two small forwards and replacing them a tall forward and back pocket.
Pleased to see Kyle get a game.

Richmond is so banged up with injuries at the moment that we can get away with not making strict like for like substitutions. Richmond's team selection at the moment is all players who are fit, then take a few out.

Four tall forwards means the forwards are a part of the rotations, especially McLean/Ladhams.

I hope Kyle goes well in his first game.

So you actually think Cox is a ****wit? FFS, settle down on the anger a bit!

Anyway, with the release of the team today, you're comment now looks a bit silly.
