Cox saying Rampe McLean and Corey will come in.

I think Corey deserves as much a go as Cleary, I rate him higher.

Hopefully Melican comes in, very vanilla but plays the percentages, wont go for kick of the year at every chance and helps release Blakey

Relistening to Cox, Corey seems under consideration rather than definitely in.

          For mine,

IN: McLean, Roberts, Rampe, Corey, Cootee
OUT: Armatey (inj), Wicks (inj), Rosas, Bice, Ladhams

One game might be too short of a sample to dispense with the 2 ruck experiment, but t think they will against the Bulldogs at the SCG where there is some doubt with English (back).

I do like the idea by Deja of experimenting Corey down back, as we did successfully with Wicks.

Harry holds his spot as a result of Wicks injury.

Like to reward those who have been doing well in the two's, hence selection of Roberts, Corey & Cootee.

Philipou might be a chance, but i would to see continued form. Same with Dattoli who i would love to see back in the seniors soon.

Bice and Rosas forms has been on the decline imo (they need to improve their hardenes) to re-capture it via the VFL.

Average score conceded in 2026 with Rampe in the team: 75.3
Average score conceded in 2026 with Rampe out: 88.9

Rampe's not been the only defender out, but his absence has been felt.

FFS. McDonald and Ladhams injured too, with McDonald a quad. What a disaster. Not clear on timeline yet.

So its the four injured out, plus Rosas and Bice dropped.

In come Hayden, Rampe, Hannily, Kyle, Roberts and Corey Warner.

Not looking fwd to a timeline

I read tightness, which normally means 8-10weeks for Sydney

How the hell can Cleary stay in the team after an awful month of mil contribution. I am flabbergasted!!!!!

Phillipou or Datolli can lay 2 tackles and get 8 possessions, they deserve a go

Selection is increasingly resembling a particularly optimistic, but poorly planned, home renovation project.

Here’s my guess, and I’m not a big fan of him.

Cox will have been frustrated for a month at some of the weak defensive efforts and intent and hunt across the ground. Bice in particular but also Rosas have been examples of that. Cleary is limited but at least is willing to make a contest.

And at least of the focus and dropping Bice and to a degree Rosas for continually running over the ball, Cox is right.
