Looks like Maynard is in for an extended holiday, after shoving an umpire out of the way, in his keenness to start a melee. Goose.

They beat the Crows last week!

He would have been better of hip and shouldering him, leaving him concussed and ending his career. The AFL was ok with that.

The wheels seem to have well and truly fallen off Gold Coast. Wonder if Hardwick will decide a holiday in Europe is more attractive?

Spoke too soon, they’re making a game of it.

Collingwood getting the better of the umpiring when it counts.

Before the season started, the Suns were $4.50 favourites to win the premiership. They are now $67.00.

I thought GC were one of the top few favourites preseason so not trying to rewrite history here but do also remember when he was appointed a few years ago if lightning would strike twice. Everything from a generational run like Dusty had to those players he had who were elite at being selfless, if that makes sense.

Still think he has a lot of the tools, but something has crept into the culture up there and it’s not good. When we stitched them up earlier this year, apparently some of our players were surprised at the lack of pushback we got physically during the game.

When they beat Adelaide, they were 15th and two games behind St Kilda in 14th. They could win a couple of games and still end up with a top-6 pick. This weekend, they could beat North Melbourne and still be 15th if St Kilda beats Essendon (likely on current form).

Their record in close games has been awful this year. I'm a little suspicious of them right now.

However, North Melbourne are a decent chance win because they have improved this year, not because Port are terrible or not trying.
