It's not just how well he's playing- it's the hype and flash as well. Has votewinner written all over him.

Swans: JBolt, Goodes and BBBH will all poll okay, but will take too many votes off each other for any of them to have a serious chance of winning.

Must be an earlier contender for most ridiculous comment of the season.

Judd is the complete package and he wins more hard ball than almost any other player in the comp.

He doesn't have the Brownlow in the bag yet but he must surely have at least 10 votes so far. Jude could conceivably have that many but equally well, he might only have 3 or 4.

It's hard to decide which is more ridiculous - what you wrote or how you wrote it!!

Judd leads the competition in 'hard ball gets' and 'clearances' and is 6th in 'tackles'.

Cox was on fire in the early rounds, then Judd would have gathered the Eagles votes from round 5 onwards. Cameron Bruce would have to be in there with a good shot, he has played consistently well even when Melbourne were losing.

Specifically what is against which rule?

Blocking and shepherding are integral parts of the game. Certainly it is not against any rule to block an opponent from tackling a player carrying the ball.

Even umpires would find it hard to ignore the hype around Judd.

He will have many votes locked away already.

It may take injury or suspension to stop him.

Based on last year's polling, Jude will be going well.

I am quietly pleased with Goodsey's form having taken him at $81 pre season.
