Ay! I played for them for 10 years! Last game in 2001!

Of course, neither of those two things are even close to being true at the moment.
That's right. To say they're overrated is just silly. They have an excellent lineup when they're all there. However, they lack a quality coach, which probably contributes heavily to their lack of heart, and they have had horrific injury problems.

They're still dangerous, as they showed with their comeback against the Demons, but we should win this reasonably well.

I don't agree with this. Riewoldt and Ball are the only two that would walk into our side.

It's still early in the week but the forecast for Saturday is for rain periods.

The Saints are still hoping that the second half of the season will be better than the first. If they lose to us Top 4 becomes impossible. This will be the second "season on the line" game we'll face in a row.

The Dees played better than us yesterday and just got across the line against the Saints. I hope we win but it's no gimme.

Assuming he's fit, I would expect B2 to play on Riewoldt - he had him in his pocket in the final down at the MCG last year!

I'm really looking forward to Saturday night. As said before, I think we'll beat the saints, and have a good rest over the split round. Hopefully that will set us up for a real performance against the pies!

I think we have a slightly easier Rd 11 draw than the pies - Melbourne at the MCG is a massive game for them.

We should win at home against the Saints because we've beaten them at the SCG the last six times they've played there.

If we play like we played yesterday, the Saints will beat us. Let's hope, as Roos has said, that we have gotten our bad game out of the way.

Agreed! I'm hoping the team should have no problems getting motivated for the saints if, as Baz said may be the case, they were a bit flat going in to the Nth game.

By all accounts Roos gave them a right spray at 3/4 time. I would imagine he will be reminding them of that during the week. Plus given the post-game comments, I'm sure the leadership group will be revved up for a better performance.

Personally, I'm hoping to once again witness Fraser having to drop back to play on BBBH, and being dragged all over the ground to the point of physical exhaustion. (or seeing him lunging despairingly as Leo accelerates away from him!)

                            That could get ugly, lol.

LRT had a pretty average game against the roos.

I think we will be far too good for the saints with our potent forward line. The way the Saints play suits us more then the roos style does.
The saints will give us room to run, and on the SCG I think we will get home comfortably.

The real test will be the pies I reckon.

Yup, and thus will begin the rationalisation of the top four, with Pies playing Dees next week (a game the Dees could win), thereby setting up a showdown for third on 24th between Swans/Pies. Then we have Crows and Eagles.

We're entering that phase when the top four start to play each other.

Rather than teams fighting for position on percentage, we may actually see a reasonable spread of the eight by round 17, when the eagles FINALLY take on the Crows...
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Could we see another West Coast vs Swans GF replay again this grand final ?

Brisbane and Collingwood had it 2 years in a row

Why can't we have the same thing ?

Both teams are the in form teams along with the Pies but I reckon that the pies list is not as strong as Swans or Eagles lists
