I'm on a Mac and last year the links worked fine in Windows Media Player. But not this year - it's a waste of my BigPond subscription.

I'll collate and send these comments through to both AFL & Telstra. Maybe there's a glitch.

I'm on a broadband plan, and when they chnaged the media player I couldn't access anything. It just continually loads.

          I rang Telstra.

          The bad news is two-fold:

          1. If you use a Mac, you can't view AFL content. This was a Bigpond 'business decision' (maybe they feel you're not important even though you're paying them money).
          2. The AFL content really only works effectively on media player 9 and upwards. If you have an earlier version, it either won't work or will not work property (refer to your quarter-by-quarter log in & log out).

Also, if you're trying to watch from work, your firewall is likely stopping this.

Here's a link the the troubleshooting guide.
          AFL FAQ's

If you can't fix your problem there, ring Telstra on 1800 266 000, press "4" then "2".

          Cheers,
          DAN

Customers who are affected by this should make a "business decision" of their own and dump BigPong and Telstra.

I pay for the international subscription and have big problems with streaming the AFL. What I do is use a TCP sniffer called etheral. When you use this, you can find out the exact address of the video, so I log in, play the video, sniff the stream with etheral and get address:

              in the form

You can then paste it into windows media player etc.

I then save the stream to avoid choppy connection to london and watch when all saved. It has been 3 years and they still can't get streaming right.
I will be a member again when I return.

There was one other match without a timely preview as well, I think it was the St Kilda match but I don't remember for sure.

                It has happened again.

It's Thursday morning, the previews for all the other games are up but not the Swans' match.

                So what's going on here?
That's weird, it was there yesterday evening, about this time. I read it (and the others)when I was doing my tips.

Good advice. We might have to do that. We haven't been on broadband long, so I haven't tried to access this feature, now I won't bother trying.

Does anybody know if us Mac users can access NRL broadcasts, or if we get the same problem?
