You need to move slightly around, us people in the Churchill have no problem in letting verbals fly... within reason of course, try and keep swearing to a minimum because of the kiddies.
Yep come on over to the Churchill. We're a friendly bunch
I can't see anything wrong with yelling as loudly or as often as you want at the footy and I can't believe that anybody would tell you off for it! My nephew and niece were going off on Saturday night and all the people around us thought it was adorable, even though they were constant and very loud for two little munchkins!

It could be the woman that sat in front of us at the grandfinal - she just didnt let up when one of us would make a comment about a mistake one of our boys made (LRT comes to mind before his brain clicked into gear and he played a blinder) she was short and wearing a beret, her husband was carrying on like a right idiot buit we didnt care, but she kept having a go at us - she even had a go at me after the game about LRT - perhaps she was a relative.
I have noticed though that the bandwagoners are the most critical, turn up late and expect a good seat and then leave at 3/4 time.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
Chickens drink - but they don't pee!
AGE IS ONLY IMPORTANT FOR TWO THINGS - WINE & CHEESE!

Yep, those 2 are awesome (i'm 99.99% sure i sit next to you!), even to the point of me egging him on at 3/4 time to keep being loud!
No being quiet over that way thanks, it just wouldn't be the same.
Easily Fixed!!!
Just use your head Jan! ...I mean her head... she sits in front of you and it would probably be a good target to throw things at!
Some people say Football is a matter of life and death - I say it's a lot more important than that!

What a joke. Sometimes its embarassing to sit in a Sydney crowd.
Shouting, swearing, abusings are all part and parcel when at teh footy and Swans players, the opposition and umpires are all fair game.
She probably was from Balmoral and if anything like the people near me - left at the 25 minute mark of the last quarter to get the 4WD out of the carpark. Disgraceful.

Yeh I always seem to sit next to the penisheads that the loudest they get is a golf clap!

I have been attacked twice verbally by her "you silly old woman" or the other night came right up to me and said there were 50 people around her saying how bad I was etc.
When they told you how bad you were, maybe they meant your cheering sucked in general.
Buy a drum, wave a soggy flag, sing a soccer song.
Sit behind Peter Hatley in the Brewongle and that is part of the problem. No one up there cheers or claps with Peter. I cant understand how people just sit and watch and dont get excited.
One young lad behind me does cheer on etc but he is one lone voice with me.
Originally posted by Big Al 50 people? Tell her to point out these people and then ask them exactly what their objection is. If there are 50 people as she claims then maybe your behaviour is objectionable.
As long as you aren't swearing or yelling personal abuse then you can yell as much as you like. I know I do.
Put the boot on the other foot and start complaining to them, about them being too quiet. Get on the offensive and be offensive, there is never enough offensiveness at Swans games.
