Bodes well for a bumper crowd.

1 hour then off to the game. Here's hoping that the size of crowd translates directly to volume of support for the team!

    Carn you Swans!!!

Plenty of empty seats, the club would be a bit disappointed I would think.

Pretty hard to be dissapointed with 60k people watching an AFL fixture in Sydney.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Third best crowd ever for TS.

When we get over 51K people we lose at TS.
                We are 0-4.

When we get less than 51K people we win at TS.
                We are 11-1.

Obviously we only like big games when they are away from home!

Sorry, I should have clarified that comment, given that it appears that the club was expecting in excess of 70,000, I would think they may be a bit disappointed that there were less than that there.

That is so frustrating. Its so important for the club to play well and win in front of those big crowds so that those people will want to come back again. The occassionals wont want to come back and watch rubbish like that which was played last night.

When we're favourites in front of a big crowd, we often struggle.

During half time, I thought I would get some exercise, and walk up the spiral ramps to Level 6. On my way up, people were saying they were leaving because of the crap view from up there.
I staggered to the top of the ramps, and went to aisle 607, and stood in the standing space there.
I could understand their point. I was in the equivelant of row 6, and the people on the ground looked like ants. The goal posts look like they are 2cm high. Imagine what it is like in Row 35 back.
I would have been cheesed off after paying $29 for that crap seat.
Good to see also so many Telstra Stadium Memebrs turn up!! It was less than half full!! Maybe they should make it a General admission event, then more TS members might turn up.
