Leo has been bad this year but he was one of the best of a bad bunch last night.

      Tarrant >>> Leo.
      So it would seem.

Leo got us out of a lot of dangerous situations last night. Tarrant was derided by Pies fans, dropping marks, missing targets. I agree with them too, Tarrant had an ordinary night.

It was the best I have seen Leo play this year. His disposal
by foot on Saturday was good and I like to see him take
them on with one of runs, but agree he can overdo it.

Tarrant is doing ok this year (re free kicks) when compared to Baz.

& as for Leo, he often gets kicks paid against him for being Leo.

Does anyone have stats on frees paid for & against inside 50? I'd like to see that.

It should be Tarrant 15 - Hall 10 this year after the weekend.

& he played less games than Baz in '05.

8 free kicks from 17 games isn't exactly looking after him either considering for many of those games he was basically always the go to man.

Can I be the first to say I don't care about Tarrant? I keep checking this thread because its supposed to be about Leo Barry.

Leo had an opponent on Saturday night.

So now you know it's not only about him so that will save you checking again.

Yep. Very ordinary return for a go-to-man with a wonky knee. But my original comment refers to "this" year.

I wonder what a comparison of career stats would say?

I thought Leo was good on Saturday night, but I will always have my heart in my mouth whenever he sets off on one of those runs of his. I thought he looked better when he was able to run through the middle though.

Agree - in the top 3 on the night for mine.

Expect frees against when the ball comes in so easily into our D50!!!! Where was our midfield?
