Why do RWOers hate Luke Ablett?

Somehow Luke has not read this. He regularly gets tackled and thenm lies there. Probably five times this year a lone.

But Luke gets tackled a very large number of times without getting HTB against him. (He just gets tackled a lot, full stop.) Umpires will almost never pay the 'no prior opportunity but no serious attempt to dispose' HTB in a crowded pack situation; they will only pay it when a player gets the ball in some space. It's this that Luke needs to learn.

That decision looked outrageous comedy hour in live action, but on replay it was quite clear why it had been paid (if you didn't think it was in the back, which is a different issue): Luke gathered in the loose ball. Didn't fall on top of it-- actually gathered it with his hands and then fell down. Big no-no.

Often Noggy crashes through a pack, picks the ball up only to be grabbed straight away and he is pinged for holding it. Also there are times when Noggy dives on a loose ball when he is our only bloke around and the opposition is streaming forward. You wonder whether the instruction could be to give the free away and hold up play rather than slapping it out to a swarm of opposition blokes on the burst.

I'm not saying that I hate all politicians. It's just that the people that I do happen to hate also happen to be politicians. Therefore I do not believe that I have generalised. I make a conscious effort not to as I align generalising with lazy thinking.

Anyway to steer this discussion back on topic ......... I like Luke Ablett, I think that he is nice.
