LRT has been playing in the ruck a bit, including at the centre bounces. Is this a one-off or a sign of the future?

I reckon Halls back is bothering him more than he lets on.

Overall a pretty ordinary game, but at least it was a win.

Best players were MOL and Schneider.
Davis, Buchanan and LRT were also good at times. Ablett good in patches.

Barry was okay. C Bolton actually wasn't too bad on Pavlich.

The three new guys - Moore, Vogels, Bevan - showed something.

                    Just an ordinary performance though.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I rather interesting match indeed... Sydney blew so many opportunities throughout the first 3 quarters but the last quarter really showed how well we can play: 6 goals as opposed to 1. The better players were Davis, O'Loughlin, Ablett, Buchanan, Schneider whereas Barry Hall left goal-less.
Hall, Goodes and Kirk were very quiet and 5 free kicks against Goodes won't give him Brownlow votes this round.

Freo on the other hand were tough at first but given the fact that they had 7 changes prior to the match, it's no surprised they'd not play that well. Pavlich was excellent as always but the rest of the squad were very ordinary.

33 points is a good win but the margin should've been greater, far greater. 31 scoring shots against 13, Swans should've won by over 100...

More importantly, do you reckon that guy got out of the ground with the ball?

Even more amazing was 27 scoring shots to 6 after quarter time.

Also interesting is that all 6 scoring shots by Freo were goals - no more behinds after quarter time.

C Bolton - played better when he was beside Pavlich rather than behind.

                              Leo should take note.

Bevan - not up to standard. We have a number of similiar sized players that are better.

Vogels picked up the tempo in the final qtr, he is not a defender is a HFF.

Moore needs to become a small fwd and crumb off BH and HOL

I thought LRT's efforts in the ruck were very good. Won his share of hit outs, good second efforts certainly offered us something.
