Barry Hall. Were we buttered up.

Barry Hall had a pretty ordinary game tonight dropping most of his marks and missing his only chance. We were told before the game he is carrying a back injury. Was this news there to make excuses for the game he was about to have. or was it just one of those very infrequent games?

I think you misjudge the Swans and Barry Hall if you think they would use injury as an excuse for a poor game.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

        I concede

I concede. You are right. Dissapointment in his form tonight made my emotions takeover and write the post.

I'm getting fed up with Barry Hall playing most of his football deep in the forward line. In my opinion, he plays his best football at CHF where he's able to use to his speed and agility in the space to create a lot more opportunities for himself and the team. It also makes it much harder for the opposition to double-team him, something they have done very effectively over the last few weeks whilst Barry has been anchored to the goal square. Perhaps this team structure has been forged out of necessity because of his niggling injuries, but if not, I hope we see him manacing the half-forward line much more in the near future.

I don't think you will get too many arguments on this one. However, the size of the SCG tends to make CHF redundant as its only one kick from the centre to FF.
