    Re: Re: Swans Anniversary Walk

Given our history, the first 13 odd years should have a 'chequered' tile pattern.

What a phenomenal waste of money!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

What a crock. I suppose you are also one of the people who 'donate' money to the players so they can have an end of season trip?

I love it how the club expects extra money from its supporters so it can pay players who make typically triple or more the average pay of the supporters.

No im not one of those people, and the last i herd we dont contribute to the salary cap.I do draw the line some times,i dont agree we should have tribute dinners and fund raisers to help the retired players now i think that is a crock.I agree they make a lot of money and they should use it wisely but they are in the spot light 24/7and that would be hard.Id like to have a tribute dinner when i retire to make a few extra bucks tho.

I dunno about every one on here.I've got a long way to go before retirement but if i was an AFL player i would have already retired.

Despite all the detractors... I reckon it's a worthy investment... Don't really care what they use the money for... But knowing that my name is carved permanently in stone outside the holy ground, home of my beloved swans, is awesome...

I have a red brick with some white bird poo on it. I can engrave your name on it and sell it to you for $1000. You can throw it at the opposition at the SCG and you will be remembered forever!
