I've got us in 8th, and only by percentage! My prediction ended up with the Bulldogs finishing 2nd, however, so I don't think anyone should pay much attention to it.

We should DEFINITELY beat Port Adelaide! They are slow, often fluff around with the footy in defence & are prone to falling in a heap when things really go against them.

Sure they beat us in Round 2 & should really have beaten St Kilda. But I'm knotching up Saturday night as a definite WIN.

I'll be doing my best to ensure that happens by firng everyone up behind the goals.

We can only drop one more game but this game against port is a must win if we have any good chance of making top 4. Dropping a game against the dees or cats wont hurt too much, games against carlton & brisbane will help us edge into the top 4 I think.

I think a good scenario here is Adelaide thump every team they play in the last 6 games and become even more unbackable favourites than they are now. The pressure on them at that point to deliver in a Qualifying Final would almost unbearable and that is best time to get them. Port 2003 all over again.

If we were a first-past- the-post competition (like say the English Premier League) I'd say hats off to Adelaide, they've been the best team all year. But the season starts anew in September. And the more they go on like they are only adds to the pressure to deliver in September.

Compared to most other top 8 teams we have an easy draw coming in.

West Coast's in particular looks tricky.

Brisbane could be great spoilers with home games against St Kilda, Geelong and West Coast.

I have us finishing 2nd which is tremendous news! Tho admittedly I may have had one eye closed during the process...

Match vs Melbourne looks critical at this stage.

Big thing for us will be winning the ones we SHOULD win AND beating one of Melbourne or Geelong. That'd leave us with 14 and a shot at top 4.
