Man, you gotta do some networking.Originally posted by elroy67
As a Melbourne member, night games in Sydney are a bit of a pain 'cause you have to stay overnight.
Remember that for everyone Melbourne based Swans fan needing a place to sleep in Sydney, there are equally as many Sydney-based Swans fans after accom in Melbourne.
A couch at a Swans supporter's place > the broom cupboard single rooms at the Victoria Hotel.

From a purely personal perspective, I work a lot of weekends, and getting one day off is hard enough, especially when the others that I work with are all trying to get to thier footy games!
As for the networking, Agreed! None of my mates are swans supporters and My wife doesn't like footy, (i know, i've made some poor choices in my life....) and although my 3 year old daughter thinks 'leaping leo' is the bee's knees and she can sing the club song, she steadfastly refuses to shout when its her turn!We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty.Comment
