Who saw it? Was it on the coverage. Radio said he was pretty fired up, fingers were pointed etc. What happened?

I don't think Hall was upset at being ignored on the lead, just the time it took to get the dam pill forward - I know I was.Comment

Do you think he will be dropped? I mean, Nick Davis had dummy spits all the time and look where he ended up...My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"

He had every right to do that - eventhough it looked Matthew Richardson-esque - It was Malceski with the ball, our side of the centre square - 17 or 18 seconds to go in the quarter, Ended up kicking the ball at about the 2 second to go mark - Sideways - That ball should have so ended up in our half-forward/forward line ... I am quite disappointed some of our players still don't understand that if you don't move the ball quickly, the opposition will fill the holes - The longer you take, the longer it is going to take ... If that makes sense.

Firstly it is team tactics and game plan stuff, or secondly, we have a lot of dumb footballers who lack vision up the ground.
I'll go for the second one. But then again we won a flag doing this stuff. Imagine how good we would be if we got it right.Comment

I think he had a right to crack it like that.We get out to these leads(4-5 goals up)all the time by playing quick direct down the corridor football which is what gives Hall etc plenty of chances(hence his 5 shots at goal in 1st qtr)then when we get the lead we continually try and 'save' the win by playing keepings off.
Hall and MOL were getting plenty of scoring opportunities early, even though they were missing some real shockers, its only a matter of time that they will start kicking them, but by doing the sideways, backwards, sideways, sideways, backwards, then forwards, the chance our forwards had really dried up,so you can see where Hall was coming from.He probably could have kicked 10 last night if not for his bad kicking, and then lack of supply starved him in second half when we were in 'save' mode.Last edited by Grant; 30 July 2006, 09:37 AM.The Future is Bright,The Future is Red And White.Comment
