We have beaten Melbourne in Melbourne in the past two years so we should be able to get a third... or will we?
This season's been very jittery for us, that's for sure. Should we be weary of Essendon, who up to the weekend were on course to become the worst team in AFL history? One one hand, it's a game that looks easily winnable for us. On the other, the Bombers are coming off a drought-breaking win and could come fired up.Comment

I'm also going down. Leaving Saturday morning, returning Saturday night. Should be fanatstic!! On my usual flights. DJ 810 @ 715am, and returning on DJ893 @815pm
This will defiantely be my last trip this year, I have to give the credit card a rest before I go on holiday in September. I had orginally booked for the Geelong game, but bloody DeathStar cancelled my flights, and ended up asking for my money back.
A enjoyable, but long day out.Last edited by jazzamcc; 1 August 2006, 07:38 PM.Comment

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.Comment

I was lucky enough to be there last year, so if they make it this year, I won't feel as bad. The Grand Final also falls on my birthday this year, so it could be a double celebration.
I've alreadt spent in excess of over $1500 on travel this year to go to Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, and for a 22 year old that doesn't earn the big bucks, that is a lot of money!!
I promised myself that this year I would cut back, but didn't keep it.
My choice was a possible grand final or 2 weeks in America and a 7 night cruise to Mexico. Personally I think I have made the right choice.Comment
