Seems the Reserves have caught the inaccuracy bug!!!

Good to see Doyle, Crouch, Vogels and Nick Davis in the best

Also good to see Matthew Davis play well as I have a feeling he is playing for his career

Amazing to see Chambers had at least two kicks

Does this mean his form and fitness are back at the required levels finally??? I bloody hope so.

If only he did that when he was part of the seniors...

The first goal from Chambers was a 40 metre snap. A beauty of a goal. I did a double take to make sure it was Chambers that kicked it. He actually kicked it like a footballer with co-ordination.

In terms of fitness, Davis looked terrible in the last quarter. Cramping up, very slow and not going to far out of the goal square.

Chambers also provided an awesome goal assist sometime in the second half, and worked with Nick D to recreate that beautiful last goal from the Geelong game. Perfect tap down.

Did you see the whole game? He played through the middle and across half forward before going to the square at the end of the final quarter. He cramped up once in the final quarter (which had the bench staff rather concerned).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

Great, I miss a game and Matthew Davis actually does something.

I only saw the second half (his goals were all in the first half) and he looked decidedly ordinary then. Really disappointed with Davis because in his first year he looked promising. At the moment he looks as if he is marking time and doesn't believe he is capable of pressing for a senior game.

Both Laidlaw and Thornton look as if they are continuing to develop nicely, based on what I saw this afternoon. Kieran Jack was also pretty lively.

It looked more like a hammy twinge than cramp, which is also why he was keen to wave the doc away. I doubt he'd want them knowing it was anything more than cramp.
He didn't seem all that good in the second half, compared to a few other performances I've seen from him in the seconds. Just wonder if the hoo haa has worn him down a bit.

Was very happy with Doyle, great tap work and good efforts around the ground. Next week has got to be the time for him now , against White and Jamar.

For the Crouch watchers, he went alright, got a bit of it with a few good inside 50's.

                            Next week,

In Doyle, Davis Out Richards, Phillips

The speed they had the doc and trainers out to him made me think they are looking at him to check (it sent the bench into a big flap) plus switching him back to more of his HF pushing about the ground made me think they are probably looking at him coming back soon. He was good yesterday, wasn't great; he had a pretty heavy tag from #1 all game (one of those "I have no interest in anything apart from you" tags") and was double/triple teamed at stoppages (fair enough, he had about 7 disposals and a goal after the first 8 minutes).
