He didn't seem all that good in the second half, compared to a few other performances I've seen from him in the seconds. Just wonder if the hoo haa has worn him down a bit.

Was very happy with Doyle, great tap work and good efforts around the ground. Next week has got to be the time for him now , against White and Jamar.

For the Crouch watchers, he went alright, got a bit of it with a few good inside 50's.

    Next week,

In Doyle, Davis Out Richards, Phillips
Davis wont be in according to the people on the scg tour. They think he wont play again this season in the seniors.

Nick did look considerably thinner last night though. Did anyone else think so?

Had my camera with me, and managed to get some usable shots at the reserves match - even proof that "The Torch" did a couple of nice things

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

According to one of the journos on MMM the Swans are training him intensively mid-week which may explain why he got tired a la the Crows and their heavier training. Evidently the plan is for him to return round 22 and the finals.

Brabazon was played sparingly in various positions, apparently they know he can play but they are giving more game time to rookies and fringe palyers to prove themselves.
He played well when on, especially third qrt when in defence
            cheers

It's ok, I was talking to the bus driver and he said next week for sure.

That's fair. After all, missing a few massage sessions is a hangable offense in some countries...

Was he speculating or did he believe he had inside knowledge?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I'm not sure Stellation but that's twice I've heard him emphaticially state that Davis won't play with Sydney again. I know he used to have Sydney connections but I'm not sure about now. But on the other hand, as mentioned in elsewhere I heard a journo who usually gets good mail (and I know he speaks to people within the inner sanctum at Sydney), say that he believes Davis is being trained intensively for a round 22 return and hopefully the finals. BTW I find it interesting that anyone would want to miss a massage session.

He may as well go out, get tanked, smack a few people, and Collingwood will trade for him for sure.
