Beginning to sound like Saints supporters now ("Would you prefer your premiership t-shirts in 100% cotton or a blend of cotton & lycra?") - nevertheless, 3rd to take on the Eagles. We match them well & last two games at Subi have been decided by the beating of butterfly wings somewhere in the Amazon.
3rd or 4th. Any difference?

I'd rather 3rd, because:
* we're a better chance of beating WCE in Week 1
* travelling to Perth in Week 3 after 2 tough finals would be very hard, and having to come up again for the GF even harder.Comment

I think it is still there. The AFL has the ability to 'bank' some, which they did last year, but eventually some of the prelims will need to be played at the MCG.Does God believe in Atheists?Comment

Gotta love the st kilda optimism!
ps - 3rd is better that 4th.If the siren sounds in Tasmania, and the umpires don't hear it, does it make a sound?Comment

I can beat the St. Kilda optimism. When I saw we were back in the top 4 after the weekend, I actually looked on the net to see how much flights back to Australia in September would cost, "just in case".
But then I remembered that I follow the Swans!Comment

i like the idea of going to west coast with GOOD and FAIR umpires but i also like the idea of going to adelaide and repeating 2003 all over again. but then again, if reality struck and the crows beat us by 5 goals then i wouldnt like the idea of going over to adelaide.
lets just not get too far ahead of ourselves people.... lets wait till after the melbourne game to be talking about 3rd or 4th placeComment
