      hmmmm.....

      Interesting debate this one,

Look, sitting in the CS during the game at times,i may start a conversation with someone that is unrelated to the footy but that usually lasts a couple of minutes.

If i am at the footy,i am there to watch the game and not socialise and it does get annoying when you sit near someone and /or who constantly talks about everything but the footy!

I find it more annoying when you are in a SPORTS BAR,YES,SPORTS BAR or somewhere like that, you trying to watch the game and you have people friggin talking about their social lives!

Go and sit somewhere else if you are going to do that.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

Can you carry on a conversation at sydney games during the breaks? I have only been to one live Sydney match last year at Homebush versus Essendon and it was a refreshing change. There was not much going on at half-time except the little league and yes it seemed that you could carry on a conversation.

That doesn't happen here in Perth at West Coast games. At half-time in particular your senses get assailed by screaming fat twit "Slim Jim" something who "entertains" the crowd at decibels that could smash bricks. Loud ads are also blasted over the video screens often also with some feel good, wanky love fest video of past Eagles exploits or players. One simply cannot concentrate let alone carry on a conversation.

THAT is soooo what happens in Perth. It`s painfull to the max. At half time, if you don`t want your ear drums pummelled you go down to the sancturay(is that how you spell it) of the bar behind the stadium. Bugger people talking, It`s the idiots with the microphones....................................... ........................................

Plussssssssssss. You know what song they play after a WC win? Daddy Cool`s (Eagle Rock). I USED to love that song years ago. Not any more!!!

Cheer for the swannies (or abuse umpires/opposition) louder and more often is my advice

Hey, how come people don't have dip for dinner? Why is it only a snack, why can't it be a meal, you know? I don't understand stuff like that.

What is obvious here is that he and his group were a total pest to all those around them. No-one takes a stand at a game unless it is clearly apparent they are detracting from others enjoyment of the game. THIS GAME NEEDS CONCENTRATION TO WATCH AND UNDERSTAND, DON'T YOU GET IT???
Fully agree with the guy who complained. If you want to "catch-up" go and sit in a pub. Live footy is here 12 times per year at 2 to 3 hours a game. Don't spoil it for others with the stupid chit-chat.

And those who complain about the Sydney "atmosphere" being empty, go and sit at a Kangaroos home game to see what a non-event is like. Or these days, or most of the "non-blockbuster" games. They hardly get the blood going.

All they piss-take references to "Un-Bloods like" I personally find somewhat irritating. (I suppose because I am even more irritated by the level of criticism Brett Kirk is copping at the moment, "Captain Smirk" banners WTF! )
