    No, of course not. But if a mug in the outer said a witty comment, even if it was below the belt, that should be applauded.

    Australians have a larrikan spirit instilled into them. The old day of the mug in the outer meant that fans of both club would often intermingle. They would often heckle each other. Often wags would try and out-do each other with one liners. These days this does not exist as much. The wags are thin out. The games are played in plastic stadiums with rooves. It is sanitised, squeaky-clean. There are a great deal of corporates & nOObs in attendance.

    I fear that footy will lose its larrikans & characters. But yeah, I don't miss the ferals who just swear inanely because they are not intelligent enough to say anything witty funny or interesting.

        Last year Swans v Geelong Finals game i was seating in the O'Reily Stand and the fella sitting next to me said during the first " Your not from sydney are you"? Which i replied"No whats it to you""Oh i could tell your a lot louder than the normal people that sit here"Which i replied again"So what thats what we are here for"Are they all pompus @@@@@s that sit in the O'Reily stand?
        Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

          I sit in the O'Reilly and I am extremely vocal, watch the footy and don't talk work etc. during the match.
