Don't you get a PM from Paul every Wednesday?

Has anyone seriously called for Roos to be sacked? Most of the pro-Davis brigade has not called for that.

I don't recall many calling for the coach's sacking. I think Roos is a genius, but that doesn't mean he's not capable of making mistakes (and i'm saying the dropping was a mistake - just the treatment of it).

Yep. Playing when injured and underperforming badly.

Not explicitly, no, but comments were as close as you could get without actually saying it. Just search the previous posts and you will see.

I'm off to Melbourne now. If you would like, I'll do so myself when I get back. Not prove anyone right or wrong, just to add perspective.

                Ok, time out here.

Can somebody actually explain to me what "bloods attitude" actually is? Can anyone find out what the players believe Bloods Attitude is?

The structure & team rules that Nick Davis apparently has broken; what are they?

Before I convey my argument, I'd like to know ERXACTLY what I am discussing.

There is so much discussion about "Bloods Attitude". But nobody really knows what exactly people are talking about here; just their own interpretation of what they think it 'might' be.

"Among other things, the team agreed that no matter who their opposition was, there would be no such thing as an acceptable loss; that no lead was insurmountable; that they would always show courage in the face of adversity; if they did lose a match, it would be treated as a learning opportunity; everyone would take responsibility and wouldn't wait for others to act; that the weight of numbers wins football matches, and for a majority of the players to win their positions they'd have to be more accountable as individuals."

The truth is that some RWO posters are nothing more than constant whingers who do nothing for the credibility of this site. Selections are not made to please their fantasies re ND, who is a very talented player but out of form and a little overweight.

The thought that half a dozen RWO users believe they influence in any way what actually happens at the club is not only delusional, its frightening.
The article is incomprehensible contradictory gibberish. The author muddles along with various poorly defined ideas and never gets to the point, probably because he has no idea what he is talking about. He can rubbish RWO all he likes for all I care, but I have a problem with people wasting trees (or electricity) on this sycophantic excrement. I am totally sick of the press release driven Swans articles in the media.

My beef is not with Paul Roos, Nick Davis or any other Swans person, but with Richard Hinds who is clearly devoid of the faculty of critical reasoning. The fact that he has the opportunity to say something meaningful to a mass audience and abuses it by writing complete tosh is most unfortunate.

As for people being critical on RWO - yes there are a few who should practice something positive for a change (I did it recently just to see what it felt like and it felt good). However, if I want to read sacharine everyday, I'll just stick with Richard Hinds.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

It was explained really well in an interview Maxfield did with the Oz last year, referred to in this thread. Unfortunately the article is no longer available online.

This article is also relevant, though less insightful.

"one poll ... quite possibly flawed"

We all know the reason why that poll was flawed...there were only two options, not a certain third one....but I promised myself that I wasn't going to make any more references to polls as it upsets and annoys others.

Glad to see Hinds sees things my way.

I first started doubting RWO polls after this unlikely result.
