SO you can say he is a good bloke without having met him but not the contrary. Everything I've read, heard and seen makes me think that the tag "Capt'n Smirk" is on the money.

That's quite ironic considering whom you are replying to...
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Some of the recent "rants" about Roos and Kirk have been uncharitable at best. I don't know how you can "personally dislike" someone you don't know personally. Constructive criticism about onfield performances and public personas is fine, but play the ball not the man.

From personal experience, Roos and Kirk both seem like really decent, personable and intelligent people.

In the Semi, it wasn't the Bloods ethos that got them home, it was some pieces of individual brilliance. The cats were just as hard and tough as us in that game, it was a tough, horrid game of footy with a fantastic ending.

In the Prelim, there it got us home. Those images of a beaten and bloodied Kirky rallying the troops at 3/4 time will remain with me forever. We were outplayed for the 2nd and half the 3rd quarters, and we rallied, they showed fight and blew the Saints off the park.

My post has nothing to do with Nick Davis getting back into the team or anything. Its all got to do with this article that this tool has written.

As a Swans fan for quite a number of years (although nowhere near as many as some), like most on here, i know what its like for our side to get bundled out with little fuss year after year.

The whole notion that it was the Bloods ethos that won us the premiership, its just crap. We all understand it and appreciate it, but we aren't blind to the fact that this team code wouldn't have got us the premiership alone, it needed some help, and thats why there is disagreement in the ranks about if and when he should come back and whether he should have been dropped at all.

Easily one of the worst articles i've read this year, lacking depth and understanding of where the subjects of part of the story are coming from.

So if you check this site, and obviously someone from their paper does, get a clue you @@@@.
Good post. Well said. I think that some of these "jounalists" look for shortcuts wherever they can. Accordingly, if they want to know what the fans think, don't ask a selection of them at games/functions or even try to emerse yourself in the club, just log onto RWO. It gives them sonething to say for no cost or effort. They are able to quote fans without getting out of their armchair.

It follows then that RWO carries a media importance far beyond what it should. If there ever was a reason for mass protest or dissatisfaction with the club RWO could wield a pretty big stick.
