Crouch injury

Swans doctor Nathan Gibbs said Crouch irritated one of his unnamed chronic injuries last week at training though all signs were positive to play the game.

I don't think some guys here understand what I'm asking for when saying for teh club to come clean. Either Crouchy is injure dor unfit. What is it? We are not revealing any club secrests here. If Crouch is injured than as per-usual the club should quote 2 weeks for a broken fingernail and than drag it on for several weeks. If the guy is unfit than say so as well. They didn't have any problems saying that Davis is unfit, why wouldn't they say it for Crouchy as well. I wonder who are we decieving here? Our oposition or ourselves?

It was my opinion at the beginning of the season that Crouch had not done alot of work over summer as he seemed,to me,to be carrying extra weight right back then.It does make one wonder how long he has been quitely carrying niggles here and there.Regardless,we wish him all the best for a full recovery and it will be great when he runs out in the red and white again.

I think Crouch has every right to keep his injuries private, as does any other citizen. Whether the injuries are 'sensitive' or not is irrelevant.

Since Crouchy is documented as being a religious man, I dont believe he would openly lie about what those injuries are. Hence we will simply get a 'no comment' from him and the club, rather than some trumped up injury report.

In any case, what difference does it make to any of us anyway? All we need to know is that he isn't fit to play, and that if they do play him he is in our best 22 at the time. Demanding to know what ails him smacks of the same morbid curiosity people often display at the scene of a car accident.

Agree - there are also privacy laws to consider as well.
