    From sporting pulse:

    SYDNEY SWANS
    Goal Kickers: N Davis 7; A Ericksen 4; J Willoughby 3; J Simpkin 2; E Shaw 2; S Phillips 2; P Chambers; K Thornton; T Schmidt; S Rowe; A Prior
    Best Players: D Spriggs; B Matthews; N Davis; A Ericksen; K Thornton; T Schmidt; J Wall

Can't say I really noticed Wall but just checked my Record and see that I jotted down beside his name "chases hard". Schmidt had a good second half but I found it really hard to judge performances in the second half, as the game had blown out by then. A bit surprised they did not mention Willoughby, I thought he was pretty good. Erickson was about a foot taller than any of the Eastlake boys.

Thanks for the report ROK. Nice to see some of the younger guys seem to be progressing well.

So Benny was "demanding the footy" to get his stats up for a recall.

I made a BS at the footy today -"bring back Mathews for Bevan".

Thanks for the details ROK - the seconds have an importance of their own these days and it's good to know it when it happens rather than next week.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Spriggs played well again. Do we dare bring back Davis and Spriggs for the Brions match?
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Apparently the ressies had no coach yesterday as they were all in geelong with the seniors so stats and goals is really all they will have to go by to make changes.

Nope, he seemed fine when he walked out on to the field at qtr time. I wandered out to try and hear what he was saying but it was all kept very quiet - except for Bad Mouthed Benny. That said Jenky, he did not exactly bound down the steps either. I did have a quick chat about his injury but he asked that I keep it between me and him.

Thankyou for that mayb his injury isnt that bad. I think they really missed him in the seniors yesterday. Glad he coached the ressies to a win anyway.

I think that is very interesting that Crouch was coaching. There was a time when I thought he would have been a great Captain after Kelly, but he seemed to disappear off the radar as regards the leadership group.
He seems to me to have a lot of leadership qualities,eg. social conscience, self discipline,approachability,commitment....

Only about injuries. At other times he's fairly normal.

Maybe he adhers to conspiracy theories...we didn't really walk on the moon.Elvis is alive and well, this latest travel scare is just a CIA plant of information.
