Pretty crap, dropped a few marks you'd expect him to grab, ruckwork was not good. Didn't seem to get much of a run though and thought he would have been a better option in the goal square than LRT.

Well he didn't get injured. Had no opponent in one boundary throw in our forward 50, took the ball uncontested tried an awkward around the body left foot snap and hit the behind post. OOBOTF.

Chamberesque stats...2 kicks, 2 handballs, 7 taps same as Barry Hall,1 free against.

who said we dont need peter everitt? besides jolly our ruck division is pathetic- we all know about chambers and i dont know why doyle is still on our list after what like 6 years? the other ruckmen on our list are too young. i pray that we get everitt or at least a DECENT ruckman in the trade period.

Can someone post Donk's minutes from the HUN tomorrow? I'd be curious to see how many minutes he played.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Didnt see much game time. Did some handy things for a big man. Has a good leap which if he could hold a few marks would make him very damaging. I think his marking will improve with his confidence.

So although he didnt do a lot today there was a lot to look forward to.

Couldnt undertstand why he didnt play permanent FF in the last quarter, but thats Roos for you.

We did look a bit top heavy today. I suspect one of the talls will make way for Davis. Richards or Grundy I guess.

Would have been perfect sitting at FF today, with all the crap delivery into forward line going over Bazz and co's heads,Doyles height would have really helped.Would have really stretched geelongs defence to i reckon, they seemed quite comfortable with the running around leading types, but a tall timber stay at home, one on one marking contest in goal square with Doyle would have really bothered them IMHO.

Chambers never got that many touches.

                            Good point.

It's funny how Roos regularly talks about using Doyle in the full forward line but rarely does it.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

Just been watching Cox. (Erh Hmmm)

Gee he covers a lot of ground and gets a lot of the ball. Thats is the big thing that we are missing from Jolly (and Doyle).

Jolly is getting the taps, now he needs to get the ball. With Doyle getting more and more game time, it could be the advantage we need, come the finals.
