A smart-thinking creative coach would have Doyle placed at FF to give it a go. He would have been given credit if the move was not successful given the poor play at forward in the match yesterday Somehow, I feel he or the coaching team is not reacting fast to some poor play right in front of them on the field in real time. Slow reaction to happenings on the field has put alot more pressure unncessarily on the team in the past as well, not just this game.
Doyle was very disappointing - dropped a number of marks so it's pretty difficult to see how he would've made the difference at FF.
Doyle was just one of a number of players that should've been playing for their spots who were rather mediocre - surely he, Bevan, & Dempster (who did at least improve as the game went on) must be looking over their shoulder.
