On tonight's news the reporter was trying to talk up Goodes' Brownlow chances. When asked, Paul commented on what a team player he was. His highest praise was that Adam 'never questions what he is told to do' (or words to that effect, I cannot remember his exact phrase). Good old Paul will not say that Adam is highly talented, is our superstar at the moment or has a great chance of winning another Brownlow. What's worse is the implication of the 'he does as he is told' comment. Goodes is just another of Paul's puppets and all praise goes to the puppet master.
Paul's comments also show the true position of the "player empowerment" program. They can't question him it seems - the leadership group are empowered to be his henchman and little more.
