Goodes gets high praise from Roos.

On tonight's news the reporter was trying to talk up Goodes' Brownlow chances. When asked, Paul commented on what a team player he was. His highest praise was that Adam 'never questions what he is told to do' (or words to that effect, I cannot remember his exact phrase). Good old Paul will not say that Adam is highly talented, is our superstar at the moment or has a great chance of winning another Brownlow. What's worse is the implication of the 'he does as he is told' comment. Goodes is just another of Paul's puppets and all praise goes to the puppet master.

Paul's comments also show the true position of the "player empowerment" program. They can't question him it seems - the leadership group are empowered to be his henchman and little more.

I wonder what he gets told?

"Just go out and run around a lot and get the ball Goodesy."
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

The funny thing is it SEEMS as though he runs around alot - but the truth is that he is omnipotent.

I was trying to ring god the other day, and by "coincidence" Goodesy picked up the phone on the boundary.

      You be the judge.

Repetitive, irrelevant, petty crusade to spend your life dissecting every word that comes from Paul Roo's mouth. Sounds like he has a stalker. Where did this hatred of Roos start ? Was it prior to your tirade after the SF win last year ? Sounds like Roos makes your life miserable. The GF win must have been really bitter-sweet.

IIRC in an interview some time ago that's pretty much what Goodesy said he was told to do.

Lucky we have a coach who knows what to do with a player of Goodes' caliber then. Or maybe the coach has no idea at all..?

Maybe Roos is sending a message to other players how should they be performing. Saying the obvious to Swans supporters doesn't mean anything, but perhaps it might jolt some players to start performing better. (You would wish... )

                      Henchmen? Puppets? Puppet master?

This is one of the oddest posts I've seen since checking out RWO.

There is no "I" in team .... thank God there's a Goodsey.

Goodsey's no-one's puppet. He obviously respects Roosey and what he has to say.

There was an interesting article in yesterday's SMH where Goodsey says that his best is yet to come.

He says he's feeling the best he has for years and is looking forward to a stellar finals series.

                          Here's hoping!!
