    Double Chance Looking Good

A win against the blues tomorrow will all but assure the 2005 premiers a top 4 position. Keeping in mind if fremantle lose to port then we take 3rd spot & have a match on our hands against the crows but more likely freo will beat port & we will have a repeat of last years QF against the weagles.

This is shaping up to be another cracking finals series.

Who would we rather play considering today's results? Crows or Eagles?

Personally I would rather play the Eagles. Assuming we lose our first final, I think an AAMI stadium prelim would be easier than Subiaco.

Certainly one of the most even in recent history! No team has limped into 8th spot to make up the numbers, and once again, the "certainty" for top spot has stumbled in the final rounds. Injuries have made things even more interesting! Should be a huge week next week!

I would rather play the weagels because we play good footy over at subi, narrowly lost there early this year after being in front most of the night & also the QF where we basically got robbed.

Let's go and take on and beat Adelaide next week and get a huge home Prelim in a few weeks.

Yes! Todays result Crows V Dees was perfect for Sydney. Tomorrows game is now one of the most important in the Club's history. I hope a 35k+ crowd turns up at the SCG to roar them into the top 4, a much better place to defend our reign as premiers!

Is it possible that we can have two prelims in Perth if Freo and WCE win their qualifying finals? Not sure what rules the AFL have in place for finals these days..

yes mate, the "banking system" is in place. in effect, the team that deserves a home final gets it.

I'm not even sure that they bother with the "banking system" farce. These days, in th etrue spirit of a nationla comp, the team that earns a home final get's it. And the AFL comp is so much the better for it.

From memory the new deal is 10 finals over 5 years must be played at the MCG excluding Grand Finals. This is the first year of the new 5 year cycle.

I think Port have almost lost already against Freo and its only 1/4 time.

We'll play WC in perth and MUST win (hopefully no Judd). Because if we lose, we'll play the other prelim in WA again (Freo will beat Adelaide), and I think thats too much travel.

I still rate Adelaide and think old Freo might be due for a little loss next weekend.
