I'm very nervous about Carlton. They have played some decent footy in the last few weeks.

Arrogance? I was saying that we need to beat Carlton first* - as I've said numerous times, teams can have unexpected hiccups in the last round of H&A.

      * "but still..." = response to "if we can't beat Carlton at home..." = we still have that ability to drop games we shouldn't and we don't do well at home this year.

Right now I'd take forwarding the clock to 4pm and knowing we've won by 1pt!

If the Swans are switched on they shouldn't drop this one, but Carlton are a far better team at the moment than Brisbane.

1 point and no injuries is better than a cruisy 45 point win with the loss of a big name or two.

Very windy in Sydney today and I'm guessing they'll rest Barry if he's not 100%.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

If we can hold fev to less than 5 goals then we will have a good day out & be ready for the weagles next week.

Sure, you'd take it, but you wouldn't be delighted.

Momentum can be extremely important at this time of year - falling over the line vs the spooners wouldn't be the perfect preparation.

Still, tougher conditions now so let's say a convincing 32 pts.

Yep, I think we need to develop some momentum. The other finalists (except 'Dogs and 'Dees) have it so we need to get going.

All right! I doubted , but that's the test of true faith isnt it?
I went to the mountain that is the SCG on this glorious day and I am born again, a true believer. All doubt is cast aside

Swans beat Carlton more thouroughly than any other finals contender who won in this round (and Melbourne were losers)
Swans have beaten the Tigers by more than the Weegirls. Swans have beaten Brisbane by more than the Saints did; and on it goes.

Mr Roos does know what he is doing and he is getting it right at the right time.
All we have to do now is worry about which Umpires are chosen for the Qualifying final against the Precious Princes of Perth

All the Swans have to do from here on is just keep winning . It's only four more weeks.
But what if the Swans win at Subi and have a week end off. They dont do well after a break!!!
Oh, heck, here come those doubts again
Mr Roos knew what he was doing'
John Longmire is taking it to an art form
We dont know how lucky we are to be Swans supporters

I was just thinking what difference the St Kilda/Fremantle game would have had on the ladder if the draw had of stood.

Freo would have been on 58 points, however St Kilda would have also been on 58 points, but with a higher %.

The ladder would look like this
                            1 West Coast Eagles 68
                            2 Adelaide 64
                            3 St Kilda 58
                            4 Fremantle 58
                            5 Sydney Swans 56
                            6 Collingwood 56
                            7 Melbourne 54
                            8 Western Bulldogs 52
Thank you AFL for having the sense to make the right decision.

Take a number you think of and double it, then add 2, what do you get...a Carlton wooden spoon, and a Sydney double chance.
