We nearly had another "Nick Davis - Nick Davis" moment.
    Nearly.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Hope you are right. He just looked petrified with the opportunity to kick the winning goal - so unlike his earlier self.

I don't know about Nick being "broken", but I do think he's a person who lacks strong desire.

Hopefully he comes good, he's such a talented player to watch.

Definitely looks like his spirit has been broken.
          Bring it on!

What makes you think that? Seriously.

I thought he was one who in the last 10 minutes found and led to space when it was vital there were no turnovers. His delivery was good. I dont know how many possessions he had but I dont reckon he stuffed up one.

I have no doubt he is a genuine wildcard for us in the following games. Lets hope opposition coaches think like a lot RWO'ers and pay him no respect.

I can't imagine coaches won't pay him respect (and I'm not sure if anyone here isn't either). Just a view (to varying degrees) that he's not as 'good' as he was.

And I also think he could be a "wild card" for us in the next game.

It seems to be a fad here to pick on a particular player for a while...Davis' game tonight was lots more than serviceable..he persevered and did as the coach directed..sometimes i just wonder about the quals of some of you guys to understand exactly what is going on on the field!
The man is one of the best players in the comp..wake up to it!

I think he may give that impression because of the type of player he is. He is not an "in and under" type, but a clean possession player with excellent disposal skills. His tackling tonight was good, and he seemed to cover plenty of miles. You might be right, he may lack strong desire, but I think he tries his guts out on the field.

Perhaps you're right that it's just an impression.

I do think he is one of our most naturally talented players and a beautiful kick. And I hope he sticks around!
