    I agree on Thomas though.
Can I clarify that comment then, as I have some Saint supporter friends who are OK! The Saints supporters whom I have had the misfortune to sit near at the footy last year were scum...and arrogant...until the last qrtr of the PF, then they were sheepish scum...or leaving scum, take your pick.

Thomas was full of excuses I have to say, even the 6 day breaks were brought into it!

      I really dislike that man.

        How good was that game!!

Johnstone, Bruce and McLean are class.

        Saints have failed dismally again.

The pressure and intensity of this game is why I don't think Freo will go anywhere this year in finals.

Interesting listened to last half. Good to see the saints trip up in the finals again.

Freo have the bonus of having to deal with Derby's, which are, from all reports the same as a finals build up in both media attention and atmosphere.

But they don't have the same game pressure. Finals are amazing in that players can barely run at the end of them. They are so physically and mentally draining. I've watched a few derbies and they're not quite at that level. This is why I think Port struggled in its finals appearances.

Didn't he also say earlier in the week say that Melbourne have a history of choking under Daniher in Finals during the Press Conferences held by White Line Fever???

Three last quarter leads given up in three years in knockout finals and yet Melbourne have made a Grand Final under Daniher BUT its the Dees who are the Chokers???

It will be a very interesting game. I think all four of these finals are going to be crackers!

BTW - was Dal Santo injured? I didn't see him in the last quarter and I missed a bit of the middle part of the game.

Sydney's 10 minutes into the first quarter.
Had a friend in Melbourne txting the score.
Did Magilla Gorilla cry at the end of the game like Mooney did last year?
Geez I hope so. Make the late night doubly worth it!
Bye bye aints. See you next year.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Dunno, I didn't see all the game, but they did mention there had been a few injuries and a bit of biffo.

Wonder if Harvey will bow out now, or play on for another year?
