Yeah, Ted is settling into the team and looking more comfortable.

      NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
My heart couldn't take WC v SYD v WC v SYD v WC v SYD v etc. My hairs would be grey after week one. I would be dead by the grand final.
      What a game.
I just watched the last quarter again to make sure I wasn't dreaming it.
My little brother called me from perth with two mins to go jumping up and down cause the budgies just "had to lose". He's a dockers supporter and will now be able to go to work and not cop crappola from the budgie supporters.
      Winners all round!!!

only one I would single out would be LeCras (far too young and skinny for a final)

the fact that worsfold packed the forward line so to not leave a loose man there and ended up having 20 players back there was the real problem

our forwards are acually pretty good but nobody (bar maybe carey) could kick a bag on 19 other blokes in the forward 50

        thanks anyway

I can't understand why whoosha did that.
Allowed us an easy goal at a crucial moment.
          A top game.

Probably the most gripping game I have ever watched. At the end we were both exhilarated and exhausted. A magnificent team effort. And I'm not worried about Davis - he did what he needed to, was playing forward at the end as I hoped he would and sang the song as lustily as anyone. Top games from Baz, MOL, ROK, Malceski. McVeigh, Fos, B2, LRT etc etc - everyone contributed, we didn't have a passenger on the ground.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Good to see Kirk back in top form, despite the ankle injury.

It was a fantastic game that's for sure, but those nail biters are so hard on the nerves.

Will enjoy watching it second time around - now that I know how it ends.

I was climbing the walls near the end, and am a little hoarse from yells of joy at the TV. Great effort by the team to not let the Eagles break the game open even when they had the run of play at different times through the game.

One of the great things about the last (winning) goals was that we got it through run and carry from chains of handballs which we didn't get a lot of at all tonight.

                  Just a great win.

                  I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Here's a screen capture of the winning goal from the afl.com.au match day panel. An amazing passage of play that started all the way from the back pocket. Malceski's long kick from the centre set up the goal.
