    The importance of the win

Not only do we gain a huge boost of confidence, but we get a week off to rest injuries, and we get out of a long trip to Adelaide. Not to mention the Home Final in a couple of weeks. Who do you all think we will end up playing?

    Freo. Pure and simple.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

      I think Fremantle as well.

Melbourne are a bit of a threat, and seeing they often beat us up here, it would be a challenge, but I do think Freo will win this week and play us.

Definitely Freo. Neitz has always been trouble for us, and they always seem to beat us in Sydney.

I think Freo will win and that suits us better. Hopefully we can show them real finals pressure!!

Yeah, but not at TS. Swans are still a better team than Dees by a long mile.

They've both beaten us this year (haven't they?) and they're both threats although obviously very beatable. I just hope they bludgeon the hell out of each other.

No, we beat Freo at the SCG. We palyed them only once. Freo has never played at TS before neither have Dees.

Yes they beat us at TS in 2004.

Definitely think Freo will get over Melbourne, and I agree we'd rather play Freo than the Dees.

Freo is one team that we may prefer to play at the SCG than TS.

I'm confident we can make the GF, but I think that game will be really really tough. We'd play the Crows or WCE. Hard to say who we'd prefer. Our record against the Crows is pretty awful, and they travel better than the Eagles. But they have been pretty hard hit by injuries. The Eagles are much more of a known quantity, and you can almost guarantee it will be close!

The importance of that 1 point win, is that we have gone from the team that snuck into 4th on % to premiership favourite.

I think the home ground advantage is going help Freo get over the Dees, which I think works in our favour as I would rather play the Dockers than the Dees. I still don't rate the boys from Freo as a real threat, particularly if you keep a couple of their flash-in-the-pans quiet (e.g. Farmer).
