I think this has been asked about three or four times this week.
There is overtime.
They play two 5 minutes halves going each way.
If it is still a draw after those two halves then another two 5 minute halves are played, and so on.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I would have jumped out of my skin. Not sure how I would have handled extra time.Comment

No extra time in Grand Final's.
If we got a draw last Saturday it would of ended right there as far as that day was concerned. A Norm Smith Medal awarded on the Ground after the match and then the AFL commission would of met with the two competing clubs, the MCC and Channel 10 at 6.30pm in the Harrison Room of the MCG to set out MCG availability, match time, ticketing, telecast details for the replay and set in place the emergency details regarding a replay such as hotels for teams and fans (AFL has reserved a limited amount just in case), flights, function rooms (pre grand final lunches etc, training grounds in Melbourne and even the parade has to be set up again.
The Replay would of taken place at 7.30pm EST tonight, with again NO EXTRA TIME.Once was, now elsewhereComment

Some common sense from Mike Sheahan about what should be done if a Grand Final is drawn. If we had drawn with WC, there's a good chance we'd have beaten them the following weekend, given their likely injuries and greater distance to travel.
Its just not fair to expect non-Victorian teams to return to the MCG the following week. The AFL must have an extra time rule instead.Occupational hazards:
