    The Eski Has Arrived!!

This bloke was all class tonight. First ever final and really looks made for it. Just composed and set up 3-4 inside 50 kicks that lead to goals.

Great effort as well coming back from the crude sniping hit from Chick.

I agree. We need to hold onto this lad. He is going to be the future of the swans.
I will be a member again when I return.

Eski was in my top 3-4 Swans players last night. His composure and drive from the half back line was like that of someone with many more games under his belt, and his delivery into the forward line was magnificent. With both Eski and Tadhg firing on the half back line, we look much more dangerous.

That's the key for me - gives us two different options coming off half back depending on how we want to play. Tadhg with more of the run and carry, with Mal when we want to move the ball on by foot more often. It gives us two excellent options to rebound.

IMHO Malceski is the best user of the ball by foot in our team over 40m+ (which is where it really matters).

He's good, but not better than Davis.

Davis used to be good. Since his return he's missed a lot of targets.

I reckon where he has it over Davis is the that Mal's kicks are alot flatter and travel alot quicker making him more effective at delivering to forwards.

In all seriousness is he the best field kick in the comp?

                  Who are the others...buckley....gilbee

I'm tending toward the eski because of his ridiculous ability to kick it so flat.

                  Suggestions?

Plus he can actually MARK a footy! Davis finished with 6 marks, out of maybe 12 attempts.

Did Davis look as bad on TV as he looked live? And was the hit on Eski by that dirty dirty weagle as bad as it looked.

Damn the weagles are just a dirty bunch of thugs!

naturally! no one is tougher than davis on the ball, no one has more commitment to the ball, no one has such pin point accurate kicks as davis, he is such a star that nick davis...what would we have done without him last night??

He played really well considering that Chick bashed into him. Lucky, after, he could still play.

I thought for a moment that he had done his shoulder and would miss the rest of the finals. Thank God he was OK and came back.

The week off will benefit many players as there are quite a few carrying injuries.
