But if you are arguing the point, when has B2 been beaten by an opponent?? He has obviously lost individual marking contests, but I certainly dont remember him not claiming a duel on points (or via K.O. as we saw with H(t)ird earlier in the year....) since he has been with the club. The ultimate reliable defender.

No I rate him highly and if you check back in this thread I backed him to be selected in the AA team. But I am also a realist and won't fall into supporting your gushing claims that he hasn't been beaten in his 100 or so games for the Swans.

Without trying to be overly defensive - I would be quite interested to hear who you would say has beaten him....(certainly in the last two yrs)

Even Jonathon Brown hasnt beaten him...

Obviously the defensive match ups change during many games so you don't often see a player get absolutely belted like Leo did in round one, but he has been beaten a number of times, most recently here and here.

              Also, Pavlich and Jakovich.

I would have said that B2's contest with meringue was fairly even.

And did Jakovich kick his goals against B2? Are you referring to his farewell game?

am very proud of their achievements. Let out a very high pitched squeal/yell of excitement when Pebs was named.

Very proud to be a Swan atm.

As per post yesterday...these were my top 4...but clearly the selectors don't worry about slow starts to the season (ROK & even B2 was a little below par early), or a few dud games (Barry).
So it's not like the Brownlow trying to work out the impact of "soft patches"...just who deserves it on the best they offer most of the time"...& we are so proud of these guys.
