Does anyone know if we will be getting free public transport to the ground for the final? I know it was the case during the home and away season but i dont know if it has changed for the finals.

Yep. Says so on the tickets.

I'm pretty sure all Telstra Stadium events are like this.

State Transit are not running the event buses to Telstra for the Preliminary. Looked on the website for events and phoned them to confirm.

sorry to sound ignorant but I was depending on getting the bus from Castle Hill (I think, is that where Hillsong is) to the ground, does this mean that I can't get the bus from there?

Not possible. You'll find they have just not updated their information.

                Hi Annie,

No problems at all. You need to park at the Hills Centre on Carrington Rd (off Showground rd) Castle Hill. It is not the Hillsong Church.

You will be able to get a Hillsbus from there (privately run) but cost still included in the ticket cost. Get there early though with Friday night traffic.

Thats what I thought so I phoned them and they told me that they had not scheduled to run the event buses on that night. I can see lots of people left waiting at bus stops if it is true. Hopefully when its a known sell out they will change it but at present its no event buses

Is this the closest stop to Kellyville, I am so ignorant about this area after growing up in the southern/eastern burbs.

Yes, definitely the best spot to hop on the bus and plenty of parking available at the Hills Centre. It is only 5 minutes from Kellyville!

I just spoke to Cityrail and they said that they won't get confirmation of the buses until next Monday or Tuesday. However she said it is very likely the buses will be running as they were running for other Swans games and the rail would not cope with 80,000 people.

So plan to be "on the buses".

I have never heard of an event out there with a crowd over 50k where the buses weren't running.

I'm certainly planning to be on this bus.

Does anyone here know if funnel air horns are allowed to be brought in?

I'm glad I won't be sitting near you! But I think I've heard them around so probably.

The PF is now listed on the 131500 website as an event with buses etc etc. shows you how much the guys who answer the phones at State Transit know. Anyhow good result didnt want to be standing at the bus stop for a bus that wasnt coming its stressfull enough at this time of year
