    A club of amazing character!

I know I am still caught up in the absolute joy of witnessing first hand last Saturday night's amazing victory but having 48 hours to digest it all I still believe that Saturday night's victory in context may be one of if not the club's single finest victory (Grand final aside of course).

I honestly doubt that any other footy club would have gone over to Perth in those hostile conditions, playing a side full of confidence with extra motivation to beat us after last years GF, get behind 2-3 times in the last quarter and still find something extra to WIN.

During the narrow losses, frustrating performances we all feel down but results like last Saturday's makes me realise just what a sensational, committed team of footballers and coaching staff we truely support and the euphoria of a win like that, easily makes every single loss bearable.

What can I say but I am truely proud to be a member of such an amazing footy Club...the SYDNEY SWANS!

    Matt

Speaking of which, has anyone done a comprehensive count of total lead changes throughout the entire game?

        Love to know!!

What was the Lions' track record like prior to their sequence FFS!

Live in the present and look at the future, don't stay stuck in the past.
Looking out for good omens which can bring the Swans the 2007 premiership

Comparison to the Lions is at least two years premature.

We'd win there every time but for the cheating maggots, or so I have read here, so why are we creaming our pants now?

I have also read on here how Roos and the club had lost the plot and would fall to pieces and when we sacked Nick Davis for ill team discipline. I have also read on here that Roos does not know what he is doing.

I suppose that Roos and his team still does not know what they are doing?

Hardly, while these good times last I am loving every minute.

And for what it is worth, even if we don't go back to back this year, I reckon our premiership defence year has been something to be proud of and has proven that 2005 was no fluke.

Semi,2 prelims and a grand final win not bloody bad in 4 years.Possible 2nd GF win.Very consistant.

Yeah cause the previous 72 years mean anything.

2003 - 3rd after close call against Bris in PF. Beat Minor Premiers in QF.

                            2004 - Finished 5th.

                            2005 - Premiers.

2006 - Beat minor premiers in QF.

Still reckon we are the beat team of the last four years. That's during Paul Roos' tenure. Beat the 'best side ever' on all but two occassions during that time.

But I see it all as half full.

The Lions had three Premierships in a row followed by a Grand Final loss. You cannot compare the current Swans team's single Premiership to that with a straight face.
