    Longmire distraction

Hutchy has confirmed that the recruiting agency has 'headhunted' him as one of the 4 being targeted by the Saints to replace Thomas. Could be a distraction for him leading into the next few weeks of the finals. Some believe it diverted Laidley from the task at hand during 2002 when he was being courted by the Roos.

I seriously doubt it. Surely he can focus for a couple of weeks, even if it involves a couple of phone calls re the St Kilda job.

Not to mention the rest of the coaching panel keeping him to task if he dares to wander. I'd like to think he'd be professional enough to focus on the job at hand.

Coaching our forwards to a record score in the GF would do his chances no harm!

I'm hoping that neither he or Cressa cross over to the Dark Side.

They might drop him for breaking team rules if he isn't doing it all for the team.

I don't blame Horse if he wants to pursue the St Kilda job but it comes at a terrible time for Sydney.

The Saints will be looking to appoint a new coach ASAP with the draft camp and trading period occuring shortly after the grand final.

It is likely he would be interviewed over the next week or so and he will need to put some focus into that.

IF Long John goes, will this open the door for Lynch as our fwd coach?

It will be like an Old Roy Boys club.

Lynch would be a shoo in as they say

We really DON'T need Longmire to go.
He's worked under Roosy for three years .... the other clubs would want him BAD.
Problem is, he takes all our secrets with him.
                  Damn.

The boys kicked accurate last week ... I say give him a payrise.

I don't care if Cressa crosses to the dark side. I have issues with him (much worse than ROK and Kirk). He can keep chasing the dollar for all I care.

Judging by his 'alleged' recent shennanigans, he may fit the Saints cultural mold.

                          That is a joke.
