Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

The count on Hall, B2, Davis and Jolly include games with other clubs, so those games need to be deducted from their game tallies.

I would love to see Goodes get to 300 but I think MOL will get there first.

I'd love O'Loughlin to make it, though I have occasionally been on his case. Great for the club I reckon. Has got a show and can be rotated off the bench for impact in his position.

Realistically however it's doubtful. Goodesy perhaps has a better show imo.

Gee some of those stats surprised me,Noggy and Leo same height and weight and also how big B2 is and his weight.

                        Interesting question!

My stab at it would be Mr Goodes. At various times in the past few years, MOL's physical ability to keep playing has been questioned. He's moving pretty well now, although most games he seems to have at least a few incidents where he gets up very slowly from the ground. (Maybe just the way he gets a breather sometimes?).

Anyway, if I had to put money on it, I'd go for Goodesy. He seems pretty resilient, doesn't get suspended or injured (so far) much and is a great player.

I often find it amazing how the Swans have so many Brownlow medallists, but no players with 270+ games. Maybe it was all that lack of finals?

It was that thought that prompted the question.

                            Good question gs14.

I would love to see Micky make it to the milestone, and ithink that he will

Imagine in about 5 years if we had Goodes, Barry and Crouch all running out for their 300th game on the same day, with a pinch hitting MOL playing off the bench (ala Crhis Grant)
If the siren sounds in Tasmania, and the umpires don't hear it, does it make a sound?

When we get our first 300-gamer?

With David Neitz, playing his 300th game this week; just leaves us, Port, Dockers and Eagles as the only clubs not to have a player who's reached that mark. Wouldn't even consider Port and Dockers as part of this because they havent been around long enough to have a 300 game player.

How many more years does Magic have in him? There are three rounds left this year and lets say we play in three finals. If he plays in all those that will leave him on 272. Still more than a full season away. Is he going to be around in 2009?

If not, I'm thinking its going to be Goodsey. He currently sits on 205, just behind Leo on 212. Goodes is 2.5 years younger than Leo though.

I reckon Goodes will be the first to reach the 300th milestone for the Swans. I'm sure if he misses only a few games between now and his 300th, he might also break the record for reaching 300 games in the shortest time.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore
