No more chardonnay, tweed, cravats or clapping behinds

    Fans need to get rowdy
SYDNEY fans need to ditch their tag as the AFL's nicest crowd and get down-right rowdy in next Friday's preliminary final, according to Swans star Ben Mathews.

The reigning premiers want Telstra Stadium to become the AFL's new House of Pain when they host the winner of tonight's semi-final between Fremantle and Melbourne for the right to play in the grand final.

I spent a lot of money on that red and white cravat!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

So those Swans guys in the red and white striped jackets from the Melbourne game can't wear them any more?

I've no doubt the crowd helped to lift our team enough to get past Geelong last year - but I'm not about to stoop to the level of a WC Subi crowd.

That's not to say I won't get involved in a bit of screaming... um pass my chardy, will ya?

I've been to some huge games at Telstra over the years, and I promise that if the crowd gets loud from the get-go it'll be worth 3 or 4 goals to us.

I'm looking forward to finally getting a chance to have an AR experience there to match the World Cup Semi and World Cup qualifier I attended where I'd almost lost my voice before the kickoff had even happened!!!

I'm going in a group of 20, and it's a pre-condition of getting a ticket for them that they must be seriously LOUD on the night.

On a sidenote: I'm hoping the "Sydney" chant can get up and running this time around. It's been struglging to get out of first gear at the SCG for a long time now.

I've always said we've gotta yell louder than the cheersquad.

If the chardy set in front of you don't like it ... lean in real close and yell louder!!

Turn feral if you have to.

IF THEY BOYS SAY THEY NEED PUMPING TO HELP THEM GET A WIN, AND MAKING NOISE DOES IT .... I SAY TURN UP THE VOLUME.

I really do wanna see the swans in the GF.

I turned it up a notch at the lions PF in 2003. Not sure if that's because of the codral tablets I'd taken to overcome a head cold or the occasion itself.

My newphew was very impressed that his Aunty started "our whole bay" chanting at one point.

I don't mind clapping the odd behind.

And I must admit to clapping when Tiger took the ball through the WC goals at about the 32 min mark last qr of the GF.
